Operations Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure production efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to meet production targets and improve overall performance.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, optimizing cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering, to support seamless operations and product delivery.
- Drive initiatives for lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Maintain and improve plant equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in an operations management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
