Operations Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure production efficiency, quality, and safety.
Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to meet production targets and improve overall performance.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Manage budgets and financial performance, optimizing cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering, to support seamless operations and product delivery.
Drive initiatives for lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
Maintain and improve plant equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Proven experience (2+ years) in an operations management role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
