_**Job Overview**:_
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Provide basic accounting and clerical support to the finance team.
- Record incoming funds in the system, keeping accurate records of payment backup.
- Timely reconciliation of
- Accounts.
- Bank deposits.
- Shipboard credit amenities.
- Assist with collection of outstanding receivables.
- Liaise with suppliers and/or sales teams for payment/receipt discrepancies and overdue balances. Escalating issues and challenges as needed.
- Using variance analysis, review and make corrections on bookings.
- Enter bookings and cancellations, including entries for Outside Sales Agents and review monthly payment figures.
- Perform administrative tasks such as documentation and entering new vendors in Trams.
- Provide assistance and support to the finance team in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable law.
- Once a week go to the office to check the mail and assist with printing and mailing cheques.
- Assist with office duties, including; ordering supplies, signing for packages, and miscellaneous administrative assistant responsibilities when Owners are on-site.
- Any other duties assigned.
- Constantly update job knowledge.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Diploma in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent verbal & written English communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (or other proven accounting experience)
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Highly detailed oriented and organized.
- Analytical and inquisitive by nature, not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Prioritization and managing expectations.
- Experience working in an independent and autonomous environment.
- Experience with CB/Trams an asset.
- Experience in the travel industry an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
