Our Manufacturing Team, based in Whitby ON is seeking a Quality Program Coordinator with strong food manufacturing experience to join our manufacturing team and help us continue to create Canada’s best tasting meat snacks This position has overall responsibility for leading the quality processes and systems within our 4P’s of Performance, Perfect Product, Champion People while supporting a culture of health and safety.

**Responsibilities**:
**Perfect Product Every time**
- Ensure that the team is creating highest quality products which continue to delight our customers
- Lead product testing, sampling and evaluation to ensure within specifications and regulations and perfect product every time
- Support monitoring product CCPs
- Develop visual work instructions to
- Test and evaluate all raw materials to ensure within specifications
- Manage collection of retention samples
- Lead the investigations of consumer complaints and internal quality conformance issues using root cause analysis to identify and implement necessary corrective actions
- Collaborate with the HACCP Coordinator to monitor safe food production and ensure Health & Safety, HACCP and GMP procedures are met
- Collaborate with Packaging, Production & Maintenance to cultivate a continuous quality improvement mentality on the production floor
- Lead development and maintenance of all finished good product specifications
- Evaluate, and maintain quality manual and related procedures
- Supporting internal and 3rd party audits and other compliance related activities.
- Support marketing with inputs for packaging development focused on ingredients and nutrition information
**Drive Performance**
- Lead the measurement of internal and external quality measurement benchmarks
- Attend/Conduct weekly team meetings to review KPIs, FS/QA, People, Reliability, Health and safety and Continuous Improvement
**Champion People**
- Develop training plans, update skill matrix, coordinate with other departments on scheduling and supporting staff development and compliance training
**Other**
- Be trained in other areas and roles to be able to act as a back-up as required
- Lead and/or support continuous improvement projects and tasks within different departments
- Other duties as assigned
**What you’ll bring**
- 3+ years working in a HACCP approved food or beverage manufacturing facility
- College, University or Technical degree or diploma, preferably in food science, food quality or other related field
- Demonstrated experience working in a safety culture, GMP’s and HACCP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all functional areas to support a common goal
- Available to work any day and any shift of the week to meet business requirements
