Workforce Challenge Paid Employment Program

The Canadian Training Institute is seeking applicants for a 15 week paid opportunity. Participants will engage in 6 weeks of group based skills development in the areas of communication, conflict resolution, job searching and resume development (among many other topics). Next, participants will complete a 9 week paid work placement prior to securing a permanent position.

**This is a HYBRID program where participants will be joining virtually 2 days a week and in person 3 days a week from 10am to 4pm.** Applicants must be willing and able to join online with camera participation. Access to a working computer or laptop, a webcam, a quiet space to take video calls, and a good Wi-Fi connection are all mandatory.

We have 3 program locations (Scarborough, North York and Mississauga)

We are looking for individuals who:

- identify with emotional or mental health barriers
- are residents of the GTA, and are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents
- are between the ages of 15-30 years old
- are willing to work 30+ hours per week
