**Project Manager**

**Position Overview**

HTA 75 seeks a Project Manager to oversee and evaluate projects mandated by contracts with the Governments of Canada and Ontario. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role ensures program developments, implementations, and reporting metrics align with organizational vision, mission, and contract mandates.

**Key Accountabilities**

**1. Own and manage the project and task management systems for the whole organization by**:

- Providing strategic and operational consultation and management for effective programs and services, including development, delivery, recruitment, outreach, quality assurance, evaluation, iterative improvement, and data management
- Scope and draft project plans to support the successful implementation of programs and services
- Integrate industry sector and employment, training, and development best practices into all departments
- Keep tasks and projects up to date within the project management system at regular intervals
- Provide senior leadership with regular updates on project progress, resource risks and mitigation, challenges, and successes

**2. Manage data and reporting as well as supporting organizational practices for the organization by**:

- Managing Salesforce data system, including input/output of reporting metrics, data models/structures, and field/page/report/dashboard layouts
- Establishing and maintaining client record-keeping practices to ensure compliance with regulations, legal and ethical standards
- Compiling reports demonstrating project challenges and successes for internal leadership and stakeholders
- Assisting senior leadership in preparing activity and expense reports for government stakeholders
- Aiding in the development and implementation of organization-wide policies and procedures
- Assisting senior leadership in preparing annual programs and operational budget reporting

**Role Requirements**
- This is a hybrid position and while some parts of this position can be completed at-home in a virtual setting, this position **has a significant in-person requirement** and **requires attendance various training sites, employer properties, and other meeting spaces across the Greater Toronto Area.**:

- This position will require **work outside of standard business hours**. HTA75 programs reflect the needs of the hospitality workforce and its availability for training and support.
- **This position will be required to work evenings and weekends.**

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating project management practices
- Experience in non-profit and/or social service settings with progressive leadership responsibilities
- Experience in developing and implementing high-quality, inclusive, anti-oppressive, accessible, client-directed programs and services for communities served
- Experience managing documentation and client records in an organization database and ensuring compliance with regulations, legal and ethical standards
- Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating program metrics and data for program evaluation and reporting
- Knowledge of social services and employment sectors
- Knowledge of project management theories and practices (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Knowledge of challenges and working with vulnerable populations
- Strong leadership, relationship management, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to navigate challenging conversations, resolve conflicts, and manage a team
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and work in a collaborative environment

**Compensation & Benefits**
- This role will receive an competitive annual salary of **$70,000 - $75,000 CAD** (pro-rated through the length of the contract, if applicable)
