The Industrial Shop Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment within our shops. This position demands an individual who understands safety and has the integrity, reliability and trustworthiness to work independently as well as within a team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following repetitive tasks:

- Cleaning shop locker rooms, bathrooms, lunchrooms, shop and trailer offices, and general access areas / corridors;
- Sweeping and mopping, wiping and dusting, vacuum and detail cleaning;
- Emptying garbages and recycling containers;
- Other related duties.
- Strong attention to detail to perform a thorough job;
- Ability to meet physical abilities of the job - have strong endurance and can lift up to 20 pounds, walk stairs and walk between buildings (outside in potentially inclement weather);
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

We use, and provide, Eco friendly & health conscious cleaning products.

Additional items:

- CSA approved steel toed boots/shoes must be worn;
- Own transportation would be required. Alternatively, Parkland County does provide transit service from Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Parkland Village to Acheson with an On Demand bus stop at the entrance to the Supreme Steel building.

This position is considered part-time (day shift, flexible hours optional, but daily, Monday to Friday). Benefits offered after 3 months.
