**Job Summary**

The Training Program Facilitator role works to support the soft skills development and general delivery of Community Builders Training Program, this could include general administration, liaising with stakeholders, curriculum delivery, case management and employment coaching. The Training Program Facilitator’s main objective is to ensure the success of our Construction Trainee Program through a variety of functions.

**Responsibilities**
- Daily_
- Preparation of Daily Lesson plans according to established curriculum
- Delivery of soft skills and employment skills curriculum in the classroom setting
- Leadership of Case Management for Trainees in the program
- Provide individual care to identify and eliminate employment barriers for each trainee
- Leadership of Recruitment, Application and Selection of Trainees for the program
- Data collection and transmission for reporting
- Recruitment and facilitation of in-class speakers, certification courses, and field trips where applicable
- Support Trainees onsite
- When a behavioural issue is impacting the ability to be successful
- At the request of Trainers when they feel they support
- Employment Coaching and Employer Relations unless otherwise delegated to a Program Specialist
- Alumni Support and data collection unless otherwise delegated to a Program Specialist
- Conducting Two-Way reviews with Trainees to provide feedback throughout their time in the program in coordination with the Construction Training Facilitator.
- As Needed_
- Attend meetings with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational strategies as invited or requested by the Executive Director or Manager of Program Delivery
- Assist in planning skills training for staff to meet program goals & outcomes when asked
- Assist in ongoing training program improvements and updates
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years of teaching/instructing/training experience with a clear understanding of best practice teaching techniques and adult learning styles
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity
- Minimum 2 years experience in non-profit program delivery
- Valid Class G driver’s licence and satisfactory driving record
- Proficient in the following programs and softwares:

- G-Suite
- Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Gmail
- Slack

**Work Conditions**
- Teaching and Presenting for long periods of time

- Monday to Thursday - 40 hour weeks - Some hours outside this schedule may be required
- Must have steel toed shoes, a hard hat, access to a reliable vehicle and a smart phone
