Job Description:
Facilitate or co-facilitate various lunch or after-school programming for marginalized students based in elementary and or high school In the GTA and Peel.

A successful program facilitator serves as a mentor for girls and maintains a high level of professionalism. This includes skills such as:

- Workshop design/development
- Team building
- Presentation
- Curriculum development
- Lead specialized activities (arts & crafts, personal development, team building, special projects etc)
- Ensure the safety of our participants, and undertake other administrative tasks when necessary.

Students looking for a placement toward their degree/certificate are highly encouraged to apply. An honorarium is provided

Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Administrative tasks
- Advocacy
- Assessment
- Community development
- Community Outreach
- Virtual meeting facilitation
- Oral presentations
- Organizational planning/development
- Participation in staff/team meetings
- Program development
- Program evaluation
- Social planning
- Special projects

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- Requires travel between sites. Valid driver's license preferred.
- Background in Social Work, Social Services
- Must be between the ages of 20 - 30
- Organized and reliable
- Technology proficient
- Part-time position. Must be available a minimum of 4 hours a week
- The school program runs from September to May
- Experience working with persons ages 12 - 18

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 11 per week

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
