**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Truck Rental Sales Representative will be responsible for selling “The World’s Best” Kenworth line of heavy and medium duty and vocational trucks.

If you have exceptional customer service skills, a strong background in sales and marketing, and experience selling heavy trucks or related products, then we want to hear from you

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develops and coordinates sales and marketing programs and strategies for maximum rental fleet revenue utilization.
- Establishes criteria and develops recommendations for the Director - Inland Lease & Rental regarding fleet size and mix.
- Conducts ongoing personal solicitation, mailers, and telemarketing calls on existing and prospective rental customers.
- Provides telephone coverage during business hours for rental inquiries.
- Provides coverage for dispatch and return of rental vehicles during rental office hours and coordinates after hours coverage with shop personnel.
- Develops an annual business plan for the rental fleet and provides monthly updates on performance.
- Completes and submits reports with accuracy and within established deadlines.
- Becomes familiar with and complies with the company’s Health & Safety Manual.
- Reports any unsafe practices to a manager.
- Other duties may be assigned

**WHAT WE LOOK FOR**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) essential
- Post-secondary education in sales and/or marketing preferred
- Commercial truck/automotive sales, lease or rental experience preferred
- Two to Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 3 preferred, Class 1 is an asset)
- Comfortable with cold call solicitation and ability to negotiate is essential
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Strong organizational skills and accountability
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
