**The Opportunity**

As a key member of the Wajax Equipment team, the Rental Coordinator is responsible for providing our customer base with long and short term rental equipment.

**The Role**

Coordinate Rentals
- Complete rental contracts and bill of lading.
- Complete quotes, paperwork and filing for long and short term rentals.
- Invoice all rental contracts to customers.
- Coordinate the transportation of rentals to customers and between various customer sites.
- Liaise with vendors concerning the delivery of rental products.
- Prepare products for rent and receive returned products from customers.
- Conduct customer visits, if required.

Resolve Maintenance Issues
- Ensure repairs and maintenance are performed on products as required and prior to renting.
- Communicate with technicians regarding service issues on rental units, if required.

Sales Duties
- Liaise with sales representatives concerning product rentals.
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries via walk-ins, site visits and phone calls; providing follow up to any questions and/or concerns.
- Prepare quotes and pricing.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with customers.

Additional Responsibilities
- Resolve customer disputes or complaints.
- Review inventory of products.
- Participate in required meetings.
- Work closely with Sales & Rental Fleet Manager regarding additions and deletions of units within the fleet.
- Participate in all required Health & Safety Training.
- Comply with the Health & Safety program and practices.
- Performance of daily duties in a manner conducive to a safe workplace.
- Comply with Wajax's policies and procedures.
- Post-secondary education and/or relevant work experience.
- Solid written communication skills with the ability to compose internal reports and presentations.
- Advanced verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct presentations, negotiate with external stakeholders and resolve customer service issues.
- Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to work effectively with others.
