Truck Sales Manager Responsibilities:

1. Plans and directs the new and used truck marketing activities of the dealership(s) assigned.
2. Plans, organizes, directs and controls the efforts of the sales team.
3. Develops strategies and procedures to efficiently meet sales goals.
4. Analyzes the financial information and develops budget plans, and procedures to ensure financial goals are met.
5. Evaluates Truck Sales Department performance against established targets and standards and takes appropriate action as necessary.
6. Assists and directs new and used truck inventory turns and gross profit, through analyzing market potential for the sale of trucks.
7. Establishes and maintains satisfactory relations with customers, vendors, wholesalers, other dealers, and others.
8. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Truck Sales Manager Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent; and five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. College diploma or University degree in business; minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, with previous supervisory experience.
3. A valid driver's license is required. Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake endorsement preferred.
4. Ability to travel 25% of the time.
