Nootka Marine Adventures is a leading resort operator dedicated to sustainable adventure tourism on the west coast of Vancouver Island. We host guests from around the world and love to share our passion for saltwater sportfishing and other outdoor adventures. Our focus is to grow a new generation of passionate anglers by teaching families and youth to fish.

Nootka Marine Adventures is a wholly owned subsidiary of Security Properties Inc., which is based out of Seattle, WA.

**Position**:
We are looking for an **Executive Assistant** to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Finance and Administration, you have a passion for organization and a keen eye for detail. You will be working 3 days a week on accounting tasks and the other 2 days supporting other departments such as Human Resources, and the CEO.
- Professional and mature demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Excellent time management and a strong ability to prioritize work when under pressure.
- Adaptable to changing needs and able to multitask effectively.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and numeracy skills.
- Positive contributor to the office environment.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Experience working in a role requiring confidentiality.
- Some basic bookkeeping experience (with QBO preferably).
- Customer service experience.
- Administrative experience.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Valid BC driving license.
- Switchboard experience an asset.
- Desktop publishing experience an asset.

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

**You will**:
Support general office operations and working environment of Head Office.
Support the accounting office with accounts payable and expense management.
Monthly travel to the resorts for physical inventory counts.
Provide manager support with data entry and document uploads to multiple software databases.
Create and distribute the monthly employee newsletter.
Prepare agendas, attend meetings, and take detailed minutes when required.
Arrange travel for the management team.
Manage schedules and set up meetings for managers.
Running errands as required.
Greet and provide general support to office visitors.

**Compensation**:
This is a permanent year-round position with a competitive salary of $55,000 - $60,000.

**Schedule**:

- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Monday to Friday
