Working together to provide outstanding integrated health care to our communities delivering best patient outcomes with exemplary standards and compassion, Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is a multi-site organization that includes Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Site and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site.

**Role**

This position will be the lead coordinator for various projects throughout Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare. The manager will be required to assist in developing, leading, coordinating and implementing newly approved programs. The manager will provide oversight of these programs for a period of one (1) year:
Current projects include: Patient Portal (MyChart), Cardiac Function Clinic, Surgical Transitions and Ocean eReferral with potential to add additional programs.

**Required Education & Certification(s)**
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Baccalaureate degree in a related field

**Required Skills & Experience(s)**
- 2-5 years’ progressive healthcare leadership experience within a hospital setting
- Minimum 5 years’ Critical Care/Emergency nursing experience within a hospital setting
- Minimum of 2 years progressive hands-on experience in project management/coordination.
- Excellent computer skills with hands-on experience creating presentations, developing spreadsheets and day to day word processing, etc.
- Familiarity with CERNER required
- Familiarity with OCEAN (an asset)
- Familiarity with MyChart Patient Portal (an asset)

**Desirable Education & Certification(s)**
- Critical Care Certification
