**The Opportunity**:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful deployment and integration of the
Human Resource Information System (HRIS) within the organization. This role will lead the planning,
coordination, and execution of the project to ensure that HRIS meets organizational requirements, timelines,
and budgetary constraints.
**What you will do**:
- Lead the planning and implementation of the HRIS project, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Work with the vendor to develop the project plan that includes implementation strategy, scope, risks,
identification of roles and responsibilities of various project members as well as project postmortems.
- Act as primary point of contact for any decisions relating to the project, including coordinating a response
from the appropriate stakeholders at the District
- Coordinate and provide oversight to project team members, including internal staff and external vendors/
consultants.
- Ensure the development and implementation of required policies, procedures, work instructions, training,
and standards to ensure successful implementation and post-implementation.
- Develop communication protocol to ensure all key stakeholders are aware of key milestones,
achievements, and any issues through-out the project lifecycle.
- Provide timely updates to all stakeholders and management.
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to assess current HR and Payroll processes and identify
needs for system configuration and customization.
- Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of the new HRIS by users.

- Oversee the migration of existing data into the new HRIS, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans and resolve challenges or roadblocks to ensure project
success in a timely manner.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets functional and operational requirements.
- Ensure all system issues are identified, tracked, and resolved before the final go-live.
- Oversee the transition from project mode to operational mode after successful go-live and ensure a smooth
handover to the HR and Payroll teams
** What you will need**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional designation or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in project management, preferably with a focus on HRIS, HR or Payroll
technology, or HR operations.
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes (payroll, recruitment, performance management, etc.) and how they
are integrated into HRIS.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize competing tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with change management processes and methodologies.
- Experience with data migration, integration, and system testing.
