**Duties**:
Instruct all levels of Foundation and Apprenticeship technical training. This will include theory presentation and shop instruction.

**Required Qualifications**:
Three to five years demonstrated teaching or industry training experience or appropriate combination of above, including some supervisory experience. Electrician Interprovincial Certification with having served a four-year apprenticeship and has a minimum of five years proven journeyman status working on a broad range of building projects. Completion of Provincial Instructor Diploma Program or equivalent (if in progress, maximum two years to completion).
- Must have recent experience working with and interpreting the Electrical Code.
- Proven participation in trade related professional development relating to new technologies, new industry/instructional developments and trends, and supervisory experience.
- Proven classroom management ability.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- A high level of energy and enthusiasm is essential.
- Proven positive interpersonal skills in dealing with students.
- Sensitivity to the needs of a wide variety of adult students returning to education.
- Ability to work as part of a team comprised of instructors, administrators and support staff.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and have a confirmed satisfactory driving record
