Under the supervision of the Retail Accounting Manager, the Coordinator, Financial Analysis will be responsible for compiling financial reports received from the FGL Sports Franchisee network (Sports Experts, Atmosphere, Hockey Experts, Sports Rousseau and Hockey Warehouse banners). In addition, they will assist the retail accounting department team in order to offer a group of franchised stores the production of financial statements as well as a bookkeeping service.
FGL Sports - Franchise Division is a network of 187 banners located in nearly 130 brick and mortar stores. Most of the stores are located in the province of Quebec but some are in Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Ontario and Yukon.
**What you’ll do**
- Compile financial reports received from the Franchises
- Assist the analyst in the financial benchmark process
- Provide a draft of the financial analysis to analysts
- Save financial reports in the specific folders assuring the confidentiality of the information
- Assist the retail accounting team in their bookkeeping tasks (during a temporary period of time)
**What you bring**
- College or Professional degree in accounting (DEC / DEP)
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in general accounting
- Experience in a retail environment (asset)
- Fluently bilingual, English and French (asset) - most of our franchise division are French speaking people
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to manage several files and retain details for each of them
- Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, professionalism and team spirit
