We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team at Veloce Luxury Homes. We are a high end design/build firm based in Hamilton Ontario, specializing in new construction and large-scale renovations. If you are someone who enjoys problem solving, is passionate about the details, able to work in a team as well as on your own, and has 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience (preferred), we want to hear from you

The Position:
The Project Manager will oversee on-going construction jobs, managing our skilled team of trades and suppliers, while also assisting with the planning phase on projects in our pipeline. He/She will maintain regular contact with the entire build team and provide regular status updates using project management software. The Project Manager will ensure compliance with building codes, assign and prioritize tasks, maintain subcontractor relationships and scheduling; complete regular site meetings with various stake-holders; interpret project timelines, plans, specifications, and working drawings of construction jobs; provides feedback daily to build-team ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Have a deep understanding of all aspects residential construction with a skillset and/or knowledge in many types of trades
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with others
- Manage trades and schedules to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the project to the company’s high-quality standards
- Experience with CoConstruct or similar construction management software
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately and ensure accurate construction
- Possess a keen attention to detail, and strong problem solving skills
- Accurately perform take-offs and order construction materials as needed
- 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience (preferred)
