The Social Housing Registry of Ottawa is looking for several BILINGUAL (French/English) Client Service Representatives for a meaningful role on a great team. We have both permanent and contract positions, for people with client service and/or community services education and experience who are detail-oriented, productive and compassionate, ideally bringing lived experience.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Completion of high school. A college or university degree in social work or a related field is a bonus.
- A minimum of two years of work experience working directly with the public.
- Bilingualism in English and French **(required). **Additional languages are a bonus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and tact in working with clients, and convey empathy.
- Previous experience with word processing and database systems.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in both languages.
- Excellent organizational skills for very busy work environment.
- General understanding of non-profit housing programs and their purpose, or other social services.
- Demonstrate ability to read, understand and interpret policies and procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $48,200.00 per year
