Peterson is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Office Manager to join our dynamic administrative team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day office operations to create an efficient and organized work environment, support the administration team, and contribute to the overall productivity, engagement, and success of the Company.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Overseeing and supervising Office Administration team responsibilities;
- Monitoring office expenses, tracking invoices and payments and preparing event and operational budgets;
- Managing office space planning to adapt to the changing needs of the company;
- Overseeing and ensuring the general maintenance of the office and kitchen(s), ensuring they meet health and safety standards and company quality standards;
- Coordinating office equipment repairs and managing equipment leases including company cellphones, photocopiers, coffee machines, binding equipment, etc.;
- Managing office administration in an effective manner, including maintaining office supplies and inventory, mail services, storage services, boardrooms, scanning and filing services, etc.;
- Developing and overseeing office policies and procedures and ensuring clients are receiving quality customer service;
- Planning, promoting, and executing various company events;
- Researching and recommending service providers, including caterers, equipment rentals, space and facility bookings, and other bookable resources;
- Assisting in all aspects of Board and Committee meetings, including but not limited to, boardroom set up, and managing meeting logistics;
- Assisting with recruitment and selection of employees that is in line with the Company’s core values and identifying the appropriate knowledge and skills needed to perform job responsibilities; and
- Assisting with the new hire process to onboard new employees in an engaging and effective manner.

**What You Bring**
- Completion of College diploma or certificate with at least 3-5 years of experience working in an administrative position while providing quality customer service with a proven ability to multi-task and prioritize demands;
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Providing quality customer service with a proven ability to multi-task and prioritize demands;
- Negotiating and dealing with outside vendors in the purchase and/or rental of office equipment;
- Demonstrating effective leadership in training and supervising staff to work in a team environment;
- Developing strong, positive, and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Diligently dealing with methods of organization and detail in performing their duties; and
- Demonstrating maturity, confidence, and tact, particularly when dealing with difficult issues or conflict.
