Business Process Lead, Payroll

BRP is currently planning the upgrade of its Payroll, Benefits, Time Management and Resource Allocation (PBTR) processes and systems. In collaboration with the consulting partners, the IS&T and project core team and the Human Resources (HR) group, you will highly contribute to the delivery of the global PBTR strategy for the next decade. We’re looking for someone with leadership and experience in payroll implementation that enjoys getting off the beaten path and who strongly believes that systems and processes are key in enabling the business to reach its goals. If you pride yourself in being resourceful, able to creatively solve problems and is a highly organized person, this position is for you

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the governance with management and ensure alignment across all business units to drive timely decisions making.

Lead the efforts of designing the new end-to-end PBTR processes from an employee experience perspective.

Act as a liaison agent between the consulting partners, the project team and the HR function.

Develop, foster and promote collaboration and communications among all stakeholders to work together towards a single goal.

Maintain knowledge of the PBTR related-processes, as well as an understanding of how they impact the other business units.

Ensure global and common understanding of processes that are translated into system requirements.

Take initiative to proactively address and solve process gaps at the appropriate level and at the right time.

Contribute to project performance and progression within scope, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.

Delegate project tasks based on core team members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.

Design the training curriculum with the training team, review and approve the training documentation required for the implementation of the new system and processes

Actively participate in designing the transition plan with the change management team (from to)

Actively participate in the awareness campaign development and promotion of changes that will impact different stakeholders.

Coordinate with other ongoing initiatives to resolve conflicts with requirements.

Assess business needs and technology implications with various stakeholders/decision-makers to finalize the requirements.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Bachelor's or master’s degree in business or another equivalent

Relevant experience in payroll transformation and system implementation

Strong understanding of Payroll, Benefits, Time Management and Resource Allocation best practices

Strong communication skills, problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Great leadership and ability to influence and engage others in a multi-departmental environment.

Ability to go into the details of a project but capable to see the bigger picture and interdependencies.

Ability to establish and maintain collaborative business relationships both internally and externally
