- JOB TITLE: Shopper Marketing Manager
- REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications
- LOCATION: Markham, Ontario (Hybrid)

JOB SUMMARY:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Development & Process Improvement
- Elevates the visibility and support for shopper marketing throughout the organization
- Leads the shopper integration into Integrated Brand Planning, Consumer Engagement Planning and Customer Plans.
- Leads the team in developing insights-based Shopper Marketing plans which align to brand and customer strategies in collaboration with Insights, Category Strategy, Sales, Trade, Brand and Finance, Retail Team and external agencies/partners
- Ensures the team understands industry best practices, has an omni lens of retail channels/ strategies, (with a focus on retailer media networks), and competitive and best in class executions
- Establishes timelines, key objectives and measures of success against which programs will be evaluated and shares learning throughout the organization

Team Development and Coaching
- Manages a direct report and coaches for high performance as necessary.
- Creates development plan for direct report that address opportunity areas and identify areas for future growth/career path.
- Ensures team has tools necessary to efficiently deliver plans and removes roadblocks when necessary

Project Management and Execution
- Lead development of seamless end-to-end execution, including creative, printing, and distribution, of national and account specific programs
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, field teams, and agency partners to execute omni-channel activations with excellence
- Develop and manage project timelines and trackers, communicating project progress to key stakeholders

Budget Management
- Aligns on Shopper Marketing annual budget through IBP planning in collaboration with brand teams
- Leads the allocation of budget across priority accounts to drive growth
- Oversees shopper marketing budget processes, management and reporting

Functional Leadership and Relationship Building
- Fosters teams’ relationship with key external customer resources, agencies and vendor partners
- Builds relationships with shopper marketing teams at other CPGs, potential partners and industry groups

OVERALL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree, diploma (Marketing, Business Administration preferred), or relevant experience
- 3-4+ years of experience in Shopper Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales, and/or category management is required
- Retail media networks experience preferred
- People Management experience is an asset
- Ability to effectively and efficiently lead + influence cross functional internally and externally at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
