South Bow aims to be a publicly held, critical infrastructure company with highly strategic assets that connect low-decline, low-cost and secure crude supply to the highest demand markets in North America, while delivering incremental growth and value creation opportunities.
South Bow’s existing oil and liquids pipeline infrastructure spans approximately 4,900 km (3,045 miles), connecting the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) to over 14 MMbpd of refining and export capacity, in Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas and the U.S. Gulf Coast. South Bow maintains a strong commitment to ESG and sustainability priorities, including decarbonization, and supports WCSB oil and its producers’ goal to reduce emissions to net zero
by 2050.
South Bow will maintain a low-risk cash flow profile with mínimal volumetric and commodity price risk, with pipeline revenues secured under long-term contracts with investment-grade counterparties. On a proforma basis, South Bow’s 2022 comparable EBITDA of $1.4 billion is expected to grow at a 2-3% compound annual growth rate through 2026, delivering sustainable shareholder value.

The Opportunity
Our South Bow Controller team is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Calgary to support Cost, Capital, and Shared Services for South Bow.
What you’ll do
Shared Services:
- Input journal entries for long-term incentive programs and pension programs
- Complete accounting for Payroll activities
- Monitor accounts receivable processes, teaming with Credit professionals on collections.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and streamlining
- Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Commerce or related field
- Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting or finance related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and tackle new challenges
