The Book Kepper/Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting accounting transactions and performing analysis including journal entries/ account reconciliations, ad-hoc reports, financial analysis,AR/ AP support and etc. The role is great for someone who wants to learn and contribute to the accounting and reporting functions of FusionTech. This position is 4 days per week but we can be flexible with working hours.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Responsible for preparing transactions for invoicing.
- Responsible for preparing payments to government bodies.
- Reconciliations of assigned General Ledger accounts.
- Preparing accounting and financial analysis in excel
- General office administration and ad hoc analysis and support.
- Provide AP coverage when required - process approved invoices into Quickbooks, payments for invoices through EFT and cheques
- Month end J/E: accruals, allocation, prepaids
- Bank account reconciliations
- Balance sheets accounts reconciliations on monthly/ yearly bases
- Prepare income tax documents and income tax as required.
- Others based on the departmental demands
- Business Administration/Commerce/Accounting Degree from a recognized Canadian University/College.
- 5 years work experience
- Microsoft Word/Excel, Quick books.
- Knowledge of non-profit financial accounting principles and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent team player.
