**Job Purpose**

To provide a professional level of administrative assistance that will contribute to KidSport’s ability to carry out their responsibilities and functions in an efficient and effective manner which in turn ensures that kids across Saskatchewan get the opportunity to participate in sports.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

1. KidSport Administrative Support
- Assemble meeting packages and distribute to committee members.
- Scheduling meetings with committee members, booking boardrooms and ordering food if needed.
- Attend meetings and prepare accurate minutes.
- Communication with sport organizations as needed.
- Respond to in person inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to KidSport Committees and Provincial Office for fundraising events/initiatives.
- Donation acknowledgement to donors.
- Responsible for filling LKSC promotional item orders and maintaining accurate Provincial KidSport promotion item stock and taking inventory.
- Creation of purchase orders.
- Assist with reporting.
- Other duties as required.

2. Reception Support
- Reception support as required resulting from vacations, sick days, or other absenteeism in cooperation with other team members at Sask Sport.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas:

- Knowledge of the provincial sport delivery system an asset;
- Experience in the non-profit sector an asset; and
- Cultural competency through an understanding of cultures and perspectives.
- Demonstrated skills in the following areas:

- Communication - verbal, written, reception, and interpersonal;
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Drive, and various databases a must (advanced skills in Excel an asset); and
- Administration, organization, and time management with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated abilities in the following areas:

- Self motivated and enthusiastic;
- Effectively manage a variety of tasks, and be able to adapt to unexpected interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day; and
- Work with mínimal supervision and contribute to a small team environment;
- Understand the value of working in a team with a common goal;
- Ability to collaborate well within the team, as well with committees, and other areas of Sask Sport;
- Understanding of when to elevate issues and when to solve on your own.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Office Administration Certificate or Diploma, or similar education and/or training; and
- 2-4 years experience in an administrative role that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties required for this position.

**Working Conditions**
- Full time, permanent (37.5 hours per week);
- Some travel required; and
- Overtime work may be necessary during busy periods or during events.
