**COMPANY OVERVIEW & ABOUT THE JOB**:
The Security Consultant is responsible for the marketing and sales of security systems, related products and services to new and existing clients within the business-to-business and corporate worlds. The Security Consultant is responsible for a minimum monthly quota dependent upon territory assignment.

Sonitrol offers a competitive sales compensation plan including base salary, auto allowance and uncapped commissions. Sonitrol helps your career thrive as a Security Consultant by providing training, mentoring and excellent sales support. First year meeting quota, income potential is 70k+.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prospecting for and consulting for potential clients with a view to providing custom electronic security solutions for their facilities
- Designing security systems to meet the needs of prospective clients
- Serving as a first point of contact for new and potential clients
- Participation in and completion of all applicable training, including ongoing skill and knowledge development beyond initial training

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous outside business-to-business sales experience
- High activity in an office-based sales environment with the expectation of fulfilling ten to twenty calls per week
- Experience selling for a service industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Completion of post-secondary education is an asset

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year
