**Why you’ll love this role**:
- As the Group Account Executive, you will drive sales within the Alberta and Saskatchewan Areas by establishing and developing solid, long-term relationships with Distribution Partners and nurturing and deepening these relationships to the mutual benefit of the Distribution Partners and Empire Life.
**What you’ll be working on**:
- Identifying, building and managing new and existing relationships with Distribution Partners-
- Providing face to face consultation to Distribution Partners on Empire Life products-
- Building relationships within Empire Life in order to leverage organization in servicing Distribution Partners and delegate service issues accordingly-
- Representing the Empire Life brand through regular interaction with Distribution Partners and attending industry events-
- Establishing quote guidelines including the monthly subsidy direction, renewal parameters for internal stakeholders-
- Acting as escalation point for internal stakeholders to support the resolution of quote, issue, service and renewal issues-
- Developing and implementing territory sales business plan that is aligned to the regional sales business plan-
- Acting as a mentor for internal stakeholders; create a strong and supportive team environment; motivate team members and facilitate the resolution of issues-
- Ensure timely, regular and complete documentation is updated in sales automation tool-
- Effectively manage subsidy on new business and renewals within defined parameters to drive net sales growth; review monthly with internal stakeholders**What you’ll need to have**:
- Completion of a University degree-
- 5+ years work experience in insurance/financial services industry in group benefits with an understanding of Distribution Partner needs-
- In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, technical pricing capabilities and group insurance products, sales activities of competitors, policy provisionsKnowledge of employment legislation as it relates to employee benefits-
- Demonstrate integrity, leadership, and a customer centric approach- **It would be nice for you to have**:
