We are looking for two (2) Planning & Policy Analysts to support the Executive Director in the Office of Facilities Renewal Management (OFRM). The Planning & Policy Analyst would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

Under the general direction of the Director (Policy, Reporting, and Performance), the successful applicants will provide general support on projects for the Office of Facilities Renewal Management (OFRM) such as:

- Preparing analysis;
- Assisting with NRC investment planning activities;
- Conducting research and analysis on technologies and socio-economic trends; and
- Helping define and implement client/stakeholder activities.

The incumbents will be expected to establish strong intra-NRC networks in order to build necessary partnerships in the development and advancement of OFRMs work. They will also coordinate the development of Treasury Board documents and liaise with officials from Treasury Board Secretariat.

**Screening Criteria**:
**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, sciences, engineering, business/public administration, law or in another field relevant to the position.

A graduate degree would be considered an asset.

**Experience**:

- Experience serving a number of internal and external clients and interacting with multiple stakeholders from government;
- Experience in research (including environmental scanning), analysis, preparation and presentation of detailed reports and briefing notes on issues related to innovation, government science and technology policy, and their relevance/implication for NRC;
- Experience in developing and maintaining a network of contacts;
- Experience in corporate level planning, business and/or policy development, strategy, governance and/or reporting in a government or business environment.

The immediate need is for one (1) English essential position and one (1) Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB position.

Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with the NRC's directives.

**Compensation**:
The intent of this hiring action is to staff two (2) immediate positions at the **RCO2 to RCO3 group and levels** with a salary range of **$74,230 to $123,393**.

In addition, the incumbent who meets the language requirements will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
