STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS COORDINATOR

Skills Ontario is seeking a Stakeholder Relations Coordinator to expand engagement with various stakeholder groups to increase sponsorship revenue for the organization and ensure sponsor fulfilment.

The Stakeholder Relations Coordinator is responsible for fostering relationships with sponsors, generating revenue, and assisting with delivery of Skills Ontario events with a view to ensuring sponsors are fully benefiting from their involvement in terms of recognition, volunteer and recruiting opportunities as appropriate. This will entail working with the stewardship coordinator to ensure that sponsorship benefits are received, tracked, and communicated to sponsors. This integral role supports the mandate to promote the profile of Skills Ontario.

You will be responsible for:

- Proactively engaging new and existing partners/sponsors on fundraising opportunities
- Working with programming teams to develop and implement events for target audiences
- Developing and implementing marketing campaigns to support partnership development and stakeholder/sponsor engagement
- Tracking feedback and implementing continuous improvement
- tracking of sponsorship related data including but not limited to benefits promised vs. delivered, and sponsors confirmed vs. unconfirmed
- Developing, tracking and distributing relevant and timely communications with sponsor organizations
- Designing, preparing and distributing annual reports to educational and industry sponsors
- Supporting and guiding the design and updating of all sponsorship related materials including but not limited to sponsorship proposals, sponsorship opportunity documents, sponsorship packages and completion summaries
- Guiding and Preparation of custom sponsorship packages upon request where necessary and appropriate
- Coordinating stakeholder advisory committees
- Participation in leadership meetings with sponsorship updates
- Continuing to assist with organizing the Career Exploration Showcase held in conjunction with the Skills Ontario Competition (or relevant virtual equivalent)
- Social media marketing and partner engagement activities including posting, tracking and enhancing engagement
- Other duties as assigned
- Demonstrated ability to make outbound calls and visits
- Experience selling sponsorships in a not-for-profit environment
- Experience developing and delivering high quality events both virtually and in-person
- Knowledge/Experience with skilled trades and tech careers an asset
- Experience developing and delivering marketing campaigns to support sponsorship engagement
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Willingness to travel as required
- Valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle is required; reimbursement is paid for travel
- Post-Secondary Graduate or equivalent experience
- Fluency in French would be an asset

This position works closely with the leadership team and those responsible for securing sponsorships for various events and programs.

**Salary**: $43,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
