Inventory Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory levels and maintain accurate records of all items in the Warehouse.
- Monitor and analyze inventory reports to identify potential issues and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Manager and purchasing team for timely and accurate procurement of inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective inventory management processes and procedures.
- Maintain proper labeling and organization of inventory to facilitate easy retrieval and accurate tracking.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and make recommendations for adjustments to optimize inventory levels.
- Identify slow-moving or excess inventory and take proactive measures to address them.
- Train and supervise inventory team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field.
- Experience with Inventory software required
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
