Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Administration Coordinator role is diverse, with opportunity to expand your knowledge and/ or skills in recruitment, benefits administration, HR records management, and organizational development initiatives. As a member of this four person team, you will also work closely with payroll, communications and privacy staff.

- In your first two months, you will:_
- Get to know HEB Manitoba staff and familiarize yourself with your role within the HR team by learning our processes, programs and internal systems.
- Your responsibilities will increase to:_
- Supporting the recruitment cycle from coordination of the interview process to the facilitation of onboarding for new employees.
- Serving as the first point of contact for HEB Manitoba employees on matters relating to benefits administration.
- Overseeing the administration of documents retained by Human Resources including personnel files, salary information, performance reviews, and education and training matters.
- Providing general administrative support to the HR and Senior Management Teams, including the preparation of employee documents and other related correspondence.
- Coordinating logistics for and assisting with corporate and in-house training and development initiatives.
- Participating in other ad hoc HR and Organizational Development related projects.

**Qualifications for Success**:

- Experience & Education_
- A minimum of one year experience in an HR Administrative role or a related field involving service delivery with internal clients along with oversight of sensitive and confidential records.
- Post-secondary education (degree, diploma or certificate) with a focus on Human Resource Management and ideally working towards attaining the CPHR designation.
- Knowledge, Competencies & Skills_
- Highly organized and detail oriented with a proven ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Critical thinking skills are an evident strength with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs with advanced skills in both Word and Excel. Experience with SharePoint would be considered an asset_._
- Working knowledge of employment and related legislation.
