Do you want to help shape the future of staff and member experiences for Vancity members? We look at each stage of the member and staff journey, and seek opportunities for omnichannel enhancements and optimization leveraging Microsoft’s D365 platform, from lead and prospect management to member acquisition and onboarding, to servicing, retention and advocacy. We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our CRM product team.
This competitively rewarded role will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically, in-person events or activities will be required of you.
**A typical day would involve**:
- Help in facilitating product discovery of features to meet the agile team’s definition of “ready” for development.
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand and document current processes, and to identify root problems.
- Partner with cross-functional banking product experience teams to research to understand end-user and member needs, pain points and opportunities throughout the journey so as to translate insights into potential solutions.
- Research best-in-class competitive practices and Microsoft’s evolving D365 platform capabilities, to help define the future state and ensure the experience offered remains competitive.
- Champion new solutions and enhancements by validating their value, clearly outlining problem statements, develop business requirements and success criteria.
- Help to continually refine and manage the team backlog to ensure that the team is focused on maximized value.
- Supporting the development and evolution of a product roadmap to enhance member and staff success, achieve business objectives, and align to organizational strategy. You will help prioritize and sequence work, with input from stakeholders and leadership.
- Work closely with agile IT delivery teams and cross-functional stakeholders to complete discovery, support design, and contribute to delivery to enable readiness, success and adoption.
**You have**:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management for business, financial and/or digital industries. Agile development and delivery would be an asset.
- Post Secondary Education (Business Administration, Marketing, or Software Development)
- Experience with digital product lifecycle management, including discovery, process mapping, requirement gathering, and UX research.
- Experience with CRM, CX and/or staff-facing technology, to act as an expert for the CRM area, provide specialized advice and explanations, respond to enquiries, develop management reports.
- Advanced planning and coordination skills to prioritize projects, identify and optimize resources, develop business cases and project plans, and manage the full product lifecycle through all phases.
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills to diagnose and mitigate challenges, issues, and risks, and capitalize on opportunities.
- People leadership skills to provide technical coaching, guidance and support to junior staff.

**Salary Range**: 81,200.00 to 122,000.00
