**Hours of Work**:
Our standard office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

**Position Effective**:
May 5, 2025 to August 29, 2025 (17-week contract)

Consideration may be given to extending some contracts beyond 17 weeks if opportunities arise within the agency.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor degree in Environmental Health from a recognized post-secondary institution. Preference will be given to graduating students.
- Enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn, grow, and excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to clearly document information and prepare reports.
- Excellent computer skills, thorough knowledge of database programs.
- Familiarity with Hedgehog, iPHIS, and Ministry of Health systems.
- Ability to work in a flexible and cooperative manner with clients, the public, and colleagues.
- Thorough knowledge of all legislation and standards relating to Environmental and Public Health.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, competing demands in a professional manner.
- A valid driver’s license and use of vehicle are required for this position.
