This position will provide basic administrative support and support to divisional staff in all program areas across the Agency during clinics. This will include school immunization clinics, community and office clinics, seasonal influenza clinics, mass immunization clinics, and sexual health clinics, if required. This role will greet clients and is responsible to provide a positive first impression of the organization to clients and visitors at clinics.

The Clinic Clerk position is a public-facing customer service role in which the clerk will:

- Assist with set-up at the clinic site, including but not limited to nursing station set up, pre-vaccine wait area, post-vaccine wait area, and overall clinic set up.
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients and respond to inquiries.
- Greet, check in, and direct clients as they arrive at the clinic.
- Greet school principal, teachers, and administrative staff at school clinic sites.
- Assist the clinic lead with organization and flow of the clinic.
- Direct clients to the appropriate clinic staff member when needed.
- Bring students to and from classrooms and the clinic areas at school clinic sites.
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Provide basic administrative support, such as filing, photocopying, and sorting client charts.
- Prepare and distribute informational packages, such as school assessments and immunization reminders.
- Maintain on-site inventory of clinic supplies required by divisional staff, such as stocking clinic rooms, preparing and packing supplies for offsite clinics, printing materials for client services, packing and distributing needle exchange supplies, and packing vaccines.
- Notify the lead nurse or delegate about potential issues.

**Hours of Work**:

- School clinic hours vary and are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Office and Community clinics may also include evening or weekend work.
- Flexible working hours are required.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week (8 hour shift).

**Requirements**:

- Secondary School Diploma.
- 1-year relevant work experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Tact and discretion required.
- High degree of organizational skills.
- Able to multitask.
- Problem solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Familiarity with medical terminology an asset.
- Friendly attitude.
- Enjoy working with people.

Note: This position requires standing for long periods of time.
