**JOB SUMMARY**
Please note that there may be travel, as needed. This may include local travel to events and Accessibility Professional Network (APN) conference.
**WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**
The Technical Coordinator reports to the Technical Director, AC.
The Technical Coordinator works closely and collaboratively with the RHFAC team, Accessibility Advisory Services team, Marketing & Communications team, RHFAC Professionals, Adjudicators, and RHFAC course instructors/facilitators.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- **RHFAC Technical Materials**:Coordinates the update of the RHFAC rating survey and accompanying RHFAC Professional Handbook, ensuring they align with the latest accessibility standards, recognize the latest innovations, and are written in plain language with clear explanations on areas of change. Works with Marketing & Communication team to ensure materials are published in English and French, and accessible.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:Collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders, including industry experts, design professionals, disability advocacy groups, government bodies, standards and regulatory bodies, to gather input for RHFAC technical materials. Supports the organization of accessible RHFAC Technical Subcommittee and taskforce meetings.
- **Research and Analysis**:Conducts research and reports on developing standards and regulations, emerging technologies, and best practices, including analysis and reports/presentations recommending how it applies to RHFAC.
- **APN Webinars & Conference**: Organizes APN monthly webinars and supports the program development of the APN annual conference, including securing identified speakers, briefing speakers, providing onsite support, and providing the Marketing & Communications Team with content for promotions.
- **Adjudication**: Supports adjudication by ensuring consistent RHFAC ratings and responding to appeals. Serves as a backup adjudicator and supports training of new adjudicators.
- **Training Courses**: Manages review and updates to RHFAC Training courses and all relevant materials (e.g., exams, resources) and upskilling of RHFAC Professional Training instructors, to ensure content is up-to-date and alignment to any RHFAC technical updates.
- **Operations**: Contributes to operationalizing the annual operations plan, updating the department workplans and setting goals. Contributes to identifying efficiencies to maximize workflows and developing/updating standard operating procedures.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Contributes to the evaluation processes to identify areas of improvement / enhancement based on input and feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
- **Administration**: Maintains RHFAC technical team’s meeting minutes and data in SalesForce.
- **Other**: Performs other related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the job. Supports RHFAC Technical Director and RHFAC team as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**An equivalent combination of education, experience and skills/behaviours will be considered.**
**Education**:University degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or appropriate combination of education and experience.
**Certification/Designations**:RHFAC Professional Designation
**Experience/Knowledge**
- Minimum 3 years in a related field (e.g., standards development, research, committee management, continuing education or consulting) preferably on the topic of
