Last Door Recovery Society is a distinguished leader in fostering a community that inspires recovery. Our mission is to provide therapeutic environments where individuals and families dealing with addiction issues can develop the necessary skills to live free from dependency. We offer long-term bed-based and outpatient treatment for men aged 19 and over, utilizing a Social Model treatment modality. We are dedicated to continuous improvement, respect for our service users, and creating a positive work environment where every team member can thrive and contribute to demonstrating that recovery is indeed possible.
**Position Overview**:
The Operations Manager at Calgary Recovery Community (CRC) is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and operational functions, supporting the Program Director to ensure efficient management of operations, staff, and resources to achieve the organization's goals. The Operations Manager will handle the implementation of business strategies, manage organizational processes, and maintain an environment that promotes client and staff well-being.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring operational systems, processes, and infrastructures are efficient and effective. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Program Support: Support program management and delivery while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Fiscal Management: Monitor budget allocations and financial transactions to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Staff and Resource Coordination: Manage staff recruitment, training, retention, and development. Oversee scheduling and deployment of staff and volunteers.
- Regulatory Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison with external partners and participate in community outreach activities.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare operational reports and ensure all documentation is compliant and up-to-date.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and guidelines.
- Experience in fiscal management, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Flexibility to work varying hours as needed to meet operational requirements.
- Vulnerable Persons Criminal Record Check required upon hiring and annually thereafter.
**Work Hours**:
Monday through Friday, 9-5; flexibility required based on program needs.
