**What’s the ask?**

Reporting to the Manager of the Claims Department, the Training and Process Specialist provides support to the department with respect to training and development of system and process enhancements. The Training and Process Specialist is responsible for training new employes on the fundamentals of claims processing and system coding for the Claim and Policy Implementation teams. This position will also assist the departments with day-to-day operations as needed. The Training and Process Specialist is responsible for identifying process and system enhancements to supporting the strategic growth of the department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build the fundamental training program and maintain any updates or changes.
- Identify and suggest improvements to refine processes and system enhancements to remove roadblocks.
- Maintain procedure guides to ensure accurate information is always available.
- Assist with the discovery meetings on system changes/enhancements, conduct the user testing and present system upgrades.
- Assist with miscellaneous projects as required.
- Assist the departments with day-to-day operations as needed.

**What does it take?**
- Exceptional ability to share information in a manner that is easily understood and applied.
- Previous experience in training and process related duties such as documentation, creation of training aides, and/or a combination of relevant work experience and education
- Strong ability to give feedback and coach effectively.
- 2-3 years of work experience in a field related to employee benefits or equivalent training.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Comfortable working independently with mínimal supervision
- Proficiency in MS Office products with advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
- Demonstrate good judgement, reliability, and professionalism in fast paced environment.
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong initiative, planning, and problem-solving skills, including an ability to focus on both details and results.
- Sound judgement and critical thinking skills
- Bilingual, written and oral (English and French), is considered an asset.
