Marketing Assistant

Whitegold Financial is an accounting and tax firm that caters to all types of businesses. We are currently seeking a **Marketing Assistant** who will play a key role in supporting our sales team, informing the direction of our marketing efforts and driving marketing execution.
**You must be within a 40 minute commute of Finch and Dufferin** as this is an in-office role.
**About the Job**
This job may evolve over time but the key functions include the following.
**Digital Marketing**
- _Social Media Management_ - Helping to manage and update social media accounts with relevant content. Monitoring social media channels for engagement and responding to comments or messages. We have a deep focus on real estate agents so any experience targeting agents is an asset.
- _Website administration_ - if you have Wordpress skills that's an asset. If not, we do have an agency that has built our current website and we may pursue a refresh of the content and layout.
**Sales Support**
- Supporting our sales team with follow-ups to agents we've met at various interactions.
- Setting up an automated flow - marketing automation - to stay in touch with agents that are not yet clients or even those that are.
- Backing up our business development manager to help her book additional sessions at brokerages.
- Managing schedules and appointments for the sales team.
- Handling correspondence and communication with clients, prospects, and others as needed.
- Providing information and support to customers interested in the company's products or services.
**Market Research**
- Conducting research on real estate agents (and others) to contact via our funnel.
- Investigating various tools that can optimize our marketing efforts.
**Administrative Support**
- This role will have a reception component for 1-2 days per week. Your focus when not answering phones will continue to be the role described above.
**About the Person**
- **Experience** - you must have prior experience with the following:Setting up social media accounts and managing them
Knowledge of Hootsuite - a tool for coordinating content distribution effectively. If you have experience with other tools that may be fine.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - you understand this concept and have experience in this area.
- **Excellent Customer Service** - You care about clients and our internal staff and want to help them as much as possible. You take the extra step to help resolve matters. You can handle pressure professionally while remaining courteous at all times.
- **Communication **- You are proficient in English and have experience writing content.
- **Detail Oriented **- Your work is accurate, precise and reliable.
- **Excellent Organizational skills **- You can manage time effectively meet deadlines without compromising work accuracy and reliability.
- **Flexibility** - You must be able to adapt to changing roles and priorities and have the ability to multi-task.
