**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in the daily workflow of Accounts Receivable functions.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Finance to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to existing AR workflows and functions.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Project Assistants, and Finance to monitor and analyze aged accounts and determine the best course of action.
- Foster strong and effective relationships with clients to create a positive client experience.
- Proactively work with clients to collect past due invoices and ensure clients receive timely account statements and invoices to facilitate payment.
- Enforce contract payment terms while investigating and resolving discrepancies and delinquencies.
- Document customer communications and follow-up actions in the ERP.
- Maintain detailed and accurate physical and electric records and documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments to communicate and resolve invoice disputes (i.e. accuracy, invoice total, etc.).
- Other related duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections.
- Experience in a professional service firm preferred (AEC industry experience an asset).

**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**:

- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English).
- Highly detail oriented.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Exceptional time-management and organizational/prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task, work with frequent interruptions and be flexible to take on varied responsibilities.
- Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining composure.
- Good judgement to proactively and independently solve problems.
