Front Office Receptionist

This is a revised posting based on new needs. The office receptionist role is as follows but not limited to the following:

- Point of contact for walk-in customers, phone calls, and general inquiries communicating in a positive, professional manner;
- To redirect calls as appropriate and take clear, concise messages when required;
- Work with the estimator(s), project manager(s), project coordinator(s), and shop crew in order to meet strict deadlines;
- Filing, data entry, accounts payable review and approval, accounts receivable;
- Maintaining office supplies and general flow of the office environment;
- To maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well organized reception area;
- Light duty mailing;
- Coordinate cleaning staff and tasks;
- To assist with small projects as required by other administrative support (i.e. labels, bulk mailing, etc.);
- To complete other duties as assigned;
- Provide back up to other positions such as shipping, and receiving - up to 50lbs of lifting.

Please note that we will be providing training for the role and our industry.

**Qualifications**
- Friendly and professional individual;
- Quick learner;
- Above average interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills;
- Previous experience in reception is considered an asset but not a requirement;
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset but not a requirement;
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, work under pressure, and meet deadlines;
- Highly organized;
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), PDFs, and Gmail.

Financial Duties:

- Handling cash
- Invoicing customers
- Processing payroll
- Handling accounts payable and receivable

Other Duties:

- Project management
- Producing and distributing memos, letters, reports, faxes, presentations, and forms
- Designing flyers, posters, etc., using desktop publishing software
- Handling multiple projects and tasks at once
- Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Offering sales support (e.g., developing and processing purchase orders, quotes, sales orders, and invoices)

Work Remotely
- No

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
