Canada Vein Clinics is looking for a full time customer service representative/call centre agent/ medical assistant to work in our clinics located at our Toronto and Richmond Hill Clinics. We are looking for a motivated, self directed individual who works well independently within a team setting.

**Duties include**:

- Greeting and assisting patients as they call or enter the clinic
- Keeping the reception area organized
- Helping the nurse and the doctor with different procedures, understanding aseptic techniques
- Assist the nurses on getting clients ready for treatments (i.e., getting consent forms filled out, taking pictures, cleaning in between procedures, taking payments, sending receipts)
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Converting new callers to consultations (training provided)
- Calling referrals to set up appointments
- Scheduling appointments - consultations, procedures, ultrasounds
- Confirming appointments 1-2 days before booking time.
- Daily reporting to the Clinic Manager
- Marketing
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications needed**:

- At least **1 year office admin experience** or Call Center experience preferred
- Prepare **a short video about your self** and how you see yourself being a good fit with us and any ideas you have that you think will be an asset to your role and the company.
- Ability to multi-task in a very busy environment
- Excellent phone manner
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional manner with engaging with patients on the phone/in person
- Ability to interact with a multi disciplinary team
- Experience using Simms would be an asset, but not necessary
- Responsibility to assist with overall efficient operations of the office.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $18.00 to $19.00 /hour

Scope of Work:

- Answering inbound calls

- Using scripted dialogue
- Providing first-tier customer support
- Providing second-tier customer support
- Meeting productivity metrics such as average talk time, average handle time, phone availability, call abandonment rate, and call quality
- Resolving customer conflicts
- Performing other clerical tasks
