Overview:
Leveraging an agile project management approach, brings together and aligns the aggregates business, Holcim IT, digital, procurement and legal groups to facilitate the implementation, management and ongoing development of the aggregate TMS system. Ensure that the system delivers improved safety, customer service and turns aggregate logistics into a profit center.

**Responsibilities**:
**Safety**
- Serve as a role model in the areas of safety, leadership, teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement to ensure alignment with the region’s vision and critical success factors.
- Lead by example and challenge others when appropriate on safety related issues.

**Aggregate Market Logistic Assessment and Operating Models (key partner: business)**
- Work with North American aggregate businesses to create and refine an aggregate market logistic assessment tool built on the foundation of Porter’s Five Forces.
- Develops and refines the TMS functional criteria and priorities by logistics market type based on business objectives.
- Creates and refines 2 to 4 aggregate market logistic types to assess and assign a type to each major North American aggregate market in relation to TMS function criteria.
- Determine key processes and metrics to drive logistic utility, profitability, sustainability and safety.

**Logistic Contractual Models (key partners: Legal & Procurement)**
- Work with procurement, legal and business to create contractual models for aggregate haulage in relation to TMS adoption.
- Contractual models to be linked with aggregate logistic market type.
- Works with Holcim ADC, IT procurement, and Legal groups to ensure that contracts with TMS vendors are meet Holcim standards and are enforced.

**Data Management (key partner: ADC)**
- With IT to document required data and sources to drive key metrics and outputs.
- Produce governance to ensure data consistency.
- Create reports and dashboard to drive use of metrics and outputs.

**Agile Product Management (key partner: ADC & Digital)**
- Maintains and refines the TMS Product Roadmap and Backlog based on stakeholder engagement and business priorities.
- With business ensure rapid and effective roll out and use of system.
- Work with IT and Vendors to drive operational efficiency of system.
- Work with Business, IT, and Vendors to management updates and upgrades.

**Relationship with Others**:

- Reports to VP, Business Development Canada
- Integrated with business through logistic leaders and Aggregate GMs
- Closely aligned with IT, Legal, Procurement, and digital.
- Member of North American TMS SteerCo

Qualifications:
**Education and Experience**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree or post graduate degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science
- 10 or more years of experience in the aggregate or logistic business
- Proven project management skills

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Digital mindset
- Excellent communication skills oral and written
- Ability to work independentlyand collaboratively as required.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and networking skills at all levels of the organization.
- Strong sense of initiative, problem solving and results oriented thinking.
- Ability to travel 40% to various sites and locations within North America
