**Qualifications**:
Specific qualifications may include a relevant qualification(s), such as in law/law clerk/paralegal or business, and a strong level of competence and or working knowledge of compliance. Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to real estate and areas within the financial market, would be considered an asset.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in business administration, law/law clerk/paralegal, commerce, or a related discipline.
- Develop, implement and manage legal compliance program
- Determine compliance metrics and create a system for tracking them
- Sign off on marketing and advertising to ensure it is compliance
- Experience with and interpreting complex documents while paying attention to detail
- Maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities
- Create compliance knowledge base depository (library)
- Perform compliance audits to determine whether establish protocols are being followed and where they can be improved
- Relevant work experience in compliance, risk management
- Strong communicator
- Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong moral code
- Exceptional time management skills

**Preferred but not necessary**:

- Graduate degree in business administration
- Certified Ethics Professional certification
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
- Minimum 2-4 years experience as a compliance officer

**Suggested Specifications**:

- $65-85,000 salary
- Full time
- Monday to Friday
