**What You Will Do**:

- Review and investigate **sanctions**, **negative news**, and **PEP (Politically Exposed Person)** alerts generated from the Bank’s AML systems.
- Assist in the analysis, monitoring, and maintenance of the Bank’s AML systems.
- Handle or support AML-related investigations, including identifying unusual or suspicious transactions.
- Perform daily **quality assurance tasks** for Large Cash Transaction Reports (LCTR) and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT).
- Monitor transactions and accounts for potential **money laundering** and **terrorist financing** risks.
- Prepare **summaries**, **reports**, and **presentations** for periodic or ad hoc updates to management, internal stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Support the team with various tasks and projects assigned by the Senior AML Compliance Manager and/or the Chief AML Officer (CAMLO).

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- Completion of at least **two academic semesters** at a Canadian university.
- Strong **research**, **analytical**, and **critical thinking** skills, with the ability to work with structured and unstructured data.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Good verbal and written **communication skills**.
- Strong **time management** and **organizational skills** to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Understanding of the **banking sector** and interest in AML/ATF compliance.
- High level of **professional ethics** and integrity.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a **proactive team player**.
