Reporting to the Human Resources Director, Office and HR manager is responsible for the HR function including activities related to payroll, recruitment and workforce planning, talent management, human resources information management, employee engagement and wellbeing, health and safety, and benefit administration. The Office and HR Manager will execute HR initiatives and best practices that contribute to an employee-orientated culture for _many facilities in Canada._
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices to influence human resources strategies.
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis and manage our benefits and retirement savings programs for all facilities in Canada
- Be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment experience
- Participate in day-to-day employee relations and human resources administration including maintaining employee files, generating reports, creating hire letters, managing employee updates and recalls, etc.
- Maintain employee job descriptions, policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Assist managers in implementing performance improvement plans and evaluations.
- Collaborate in the design and implementation of organizational tools and programs to support employee engagement, change management and team effectiveness.
- Ensure company compliance with applicable human resources, health & Safety and payroll legislation, as well as recommended best practices.

Develop, implement review policies and program and maintain.
- Keep abreast of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in HR, talent management and employment law.
- Promote an atmosphere of continuous learning and collaboration; gather feedback from individuals and teams to improve work processes and work/life balance.
- Develop and implement measures to improve employee morale, motivation and satisfaction while reducing turnover.
- Manage the employee survey process, assess trends, gaps and results, and collaborate with leadership to create an action plan.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 6 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated knowledge in the area of client relation management;
- Equivalent combination of education and human resources experience; achievement of CHRP designation or post-graduate degree preferred;
- Be a team player and an excellent facilitator of action planning;
- Strong planning and organizational skills;
- Strong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information;
- Superior written and verbal communication skills English;
- Functional written and verbal communication skills French;
- Solid Computer Skills Including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Required;
- Exceptional commitment to customer service
- On site Full-Time
