**What is the opportunity?**

This leadership role focuses on winning in the local market by leading a team of Business Account Managers to deliver a superior client experience to small business clients* and maximize revenue growth for RBC.

As the leader-coach, you inspire, motivate and engage your sales team to deliver a highly differentiated client experience to enhance client loyalty and revenue growth by growing business sales volume and products and services, and by acquiring new clients and deepening existing client relationships. You are focused on coaching your team to high standards of behaviors, sales activities and results.

**What will you do?**

Coach and influence the team to grow existing relationships and acquire new clients to optimize each team member’s sales pipeline with new business opportunities

Build discovery skills of your team to enable effective identification of client financial needs and coach the team to maximize sales effectiveness and partner with RBC group to generate referrals. Lead the team to deliver differentiated client experience, lead successful change and recruit/retain top talent Develop your team’s credit skills and maintain oversight to ensure action is taken to preserve satisfactory operational and credit effectiveness.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**

**Knowledge/Accreditations**
- Knowledge of a broad array of business and personal financial products and services, such as credit and investment is an asset
- Knowledge of financial analysis and risk assessment are required

**Experience**
- Familiar with the dynamics and financing challenges associated with a small business enterprise.
- Have successfully led substantive change initiatives and have built strong relationships both with team members and across many teams in previous role.

**Skills/Competencies/Attributes**
- Effective leadership, sales and performance management skills
- Strong coaching ability to create and sustain a high performing professional sales team
- Role model for relationship building, partnering and collaboration
- Highly developed problem-solving, critical thinking skills and organization skills
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Actively fosters a continuous learning mindset and professional development of their team members and models commitment to own development by actively growing, developing and learning as a leader and coach him/herself
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with partners across Canada

**E**ducation**
- Post-secondary diploma/degree, ideally in Commerce, Business Administration or related experience
