**Who We Are Looking For**

Boughton Law is currently recruiting for a junior or intermediate Corporate Services Clerk. Reporting to the Corporate Services Supervisor, the Corporate Services Clerk assists in the preparation and handling of annual maintenance documents and other corporate duties.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Open and distribute incoming mail within the Corporate Services Department
- Prepare annual maintenance documents (annual reports/returns, annual consent resolutions) for British Columbia companies and Federal corporations
- Sort returned annual reports/returns and collation of same for filing at corporate registry
- Attend to corporate registry filings including annual reports, changes of directors, and changes of registered/records office addresses
- Maintaining bring forward system
- Prepare invoices and post time using Acumin accounting software

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of Corporate Records experience
- Graduate of a Legal Administrative Assistant Program and/or legal experience in a similar position
- Excellent English oral and written skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to draft standard correspondence with minimum supervision
- Experience with Corporate Database (ALF) an asset
- Experience with BC Online
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, lawyers and staff
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with billing/invoicing processes in a legal environment would be an asset
