The City of North Vancouver is looking for a temporary full-time City Clerk to join their team for approximately one (1) year.

As an appointed officer of the City of North Vancouver and reporting to the Office of the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, the City Clerk plans and directs the work of a division engaged in providing decision-making support, as well as administrative and corporate support services for Council. The City Clerk is responsible for the general local election and acts as an advisor to Council on procedural matters, and is an important liaison between elected officials, the general public, and agencies. The City Clerk, as the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy lead for the City of North Vancouver and its Boards and agencies, helps instill public trust and confidence. This is an integral position for the City that provides a bridge between City processes and practices, stakeholders, and the delivery of services.

During the recruitment process, applicants will be requested to provide a current Police Information Check (PIC).

We offer an attractive remuneration and benefits package for this exempt position, including a compressed work schedule.

**Salary**:
$148,992 to $174,192 annually
(January 2023 rates)
