**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a proactive detailed-oriented and organized office administrator who wants to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of a family-owned fuel company. You will be an integral member of our team and will be entrusted with all things that Dave Moore Fuels needs to provide “the best service when you need it most” while continuing maintaining and growing its customer base.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Daily generate and post sales of all invoicing of our products to customer ledger accounts that is entered into a stand-alone software package designed for the fuel industry.

Code enter and pay all payables, prepare balance and deposit customer payments.

Update and input refined products and lubricant pricing for customers as directed by the General Manager into designated software.

Enter all customer payments by various payment methods into customers ledger accounts.

Perform and administrate all daily routine tasks associated with the operations of a fuel company as required.

On a monthly basis process customer statements, file HST and Carbon Tax, reconcile bank statements, and generate Income Statements and Balance Sheet.

Administrate a software program payroll system including our WSIB account and administrate a benefit employee package and pension plan.

Provide administrative support to the management team, to assist with special projects and tasks as assigned.

**Education and/or Experience**

Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, Business Administration or related field is preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
Good knowledge of accounting principals and practices

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast and ever-changing environment.

Proven ability to work independently and problem solve.

Attention to detail and high regard for accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an exceptional strong customer service orientation and telephone etiquette

Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven team - player with an ability to collaborate and support colleagues.

A positive demeanor and ability to provide exceptional high-level customer service.

Commitment to learning and self developing personal skill sets to assist in honing in on one’s expertise in the fuel industry.

**Licenses or Certifications**:
Drivers licence for punctual and reliable transportation to office

**Physical Requirements**:
Some stretching and lifting ability.

Sitting at workstation for extended hours

**Working Conditions**:
Controlled climatic environment.

Daily 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday

Salary position $48,000.00 to $52,000.00

Holidays 2 weeks to start and increased as per employment time.

Personal days -allowable by Provincial Government Guidelines
