**Department Overview**

**TDI Business Operations Effectiveness team **covers all Life & Health business management & governance functions. Our team drives three main functions: First, the Business Performance, Planning & Coordination of business process change activities. Second, we drive Operational Effectiveness through lean continuous improvement and digital & automation innovation.

**About This Role**
- You’ll champion team success by setting targets and objectives and continually assessing team skills and capabilities to ensure we are always equipped to deliver exceptional results.**Here's some of what you may be asked to perform**:

- Work closely with key business leaders to optimize resources and leverage TDI’s operating model to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and scale
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance operational efficiency & productivity
- Support Process leads in the building of successful business cases for presentation to executives.
- Business Problem Solving: Ability to start at a high level & conceptualize complex business issues, and build a framework to solve the problem
- Lead the design/execution of projects requiring Digital and RPA capability
- Lead, manage and plan a diverse set of work activities involving the development and integrated implementation of process changes across multiple functional areas.
- Ensure an integrated and aggregated view of all related activities across the overall function providing escalations, recommendations, and decision support to leadership.
- Forecast initiatives and demand, prioritize with key stakeholders.
- Provide functional and business level communications to ensure messages to stakeholders and/or employees are consistent, appropriate, and aligned to business strategies and executive management direction.
- Provide coaching, development, succession, recruitment, resource management, team leadership, input into performance and development plans.

**Job Requirements**

- Undergraduate Degree.
- 7+ years relevant experience.
- Confidence and ability to lead and manage a significant business management functional area and overall operation of a diverse group in an area of moderate risk, complexity, or scope.
- Expertise in Lean Transformation/ Continuous Process Improvement methodologies
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the business and technology, organizational practices, and disciplines
- Experience managing client expectation in a fast paced, result oriented environment
- Experience with executive reporting
- Strong relationship building skills
- Leadership in growing team expertise to align with demand, and technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio )
- Jira / Confluence Design

**Nice to Have**:
Insurance industry expertise (Credit Protection, Life insurance...)
- Experience in working with Digital & Automation team to deliver digital solutions
- Lean Six Sigma certification or expertise
